Hi! I’m a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) with a Master of Social Work (MSW). I completed my Bachelor of Social Work at Florida International University and my Master of Social Work at the University of West Florida. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, young women, and older adults across a range of settings, including with clients experiencing crisis and those navigating substance use challenges. My approach is grounded in person-centered principles, with an emphasis on creating a respectful, collaborative, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients work through ambivalence and move toward the changes they want to make at their own pace. I also employ various other modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness and Somatic Experience.
