Guena Szkolnik is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she specializes in providing bilingual therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Guena utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation, and Mindfulness Techniques. Her therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and a client-centered approach, helping individuals identify and develop healthier, more effective habits to regulate their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
